LIME ESSENTIAL OIL (Citrus Aurantifolia Oil) is steam distilled from the peel of handpicked limes in Mexico. The peel is steam distilled to reduce the natural phototoxicity of citrus essential oils, and it is rich in vitamins and antioxidants.
Lime essential oil has a refreshing aroma that is energising and invigorating for both body and mind. It can be used in massage to support healthy joints, and in skincare to enhance tone and promote youthful looking skin. As lime essential oils balances oily skin it is safe to use by those with congested skin.
Blending: lime blends well with other all other citrus oils, geranium, lavender, palmarosa, rose and neroli.
Natural constituents: linalool, terpineol (alcohol), citral (aldehyde), linalyl acetate (ester), bergaptene (lactone), limonene, pinene, sabiene, terpinolene.
